McLaren GT Ride-On: a cool new supercar for kids
It’s the fourth model in McLaren’s children’s toy range

The McLaren GT has been unveiled as the newest addition to McLaren Automotive’s junior Ride-On model range. Following the P1, 720S and McLaren Senna electrified models, the GT Ride-On is suitable for supercar enthusiasts aged three to six.

Available in six colours - Burnished Copper, Silica White, Onyx Black, McLaren Orange, Amaranth Red and Burton Blue - the GT features McLaren’s iconic dihedral doors, functional storage trunk and brake pedal with working LED lights.

This Ride-On is the “coolest toy of the summer”, says SlashGear, and it functions like a regular car, too. Just like the real thing, the GT Ride-On has workable dashboard controls with key start that activates McLaren engine sounds.

“We’re fairly impressed with the design details and the replication of an actual McLaren GT throughout the vehicle,” says AutoBlog. And in the rear storage compartment behind the driver you can stow “additional Hot Wheels cars and/or stuffed animals aplenty”.

The Ride-on Mclaren GT is “the only McLaren you can afford”, says DriveTribe. Priced from £163 to £234, depending on the options selected, it is available to order now from selected global toy retailers.
