A British motor industry success story, the Toyota Corolla is built at the Japanese brand’s Burnaston factory near Derby, said Auto Express. This new fifth-generation hatchback has undergone more extensive changes than might appear at first. It weighs 14% less, but delivers 14% more power (138bhp) thanks to a reviewed hybrid power train and redesigned battery. 0-62mph is 1.7 seconds faster too.
