1. Ninja Foodi Max Pro Health Grill, Flat Plate & Air Fryer

2. Tefal ActiFry FZ729840 Air Fryer
With just a little oil, the ActiFry can make up to six portions of perfectly crisp, fluffy chips. The basket rotates to give even results and it has a clear lid so you can check progress while cooking.
3. Instant Pot Duo Crisp & Air Fryer
Combining an air fryer and a pressure cooker, this versatile appliance has 11 cooking modes (including steam, sous vide and slow cook) and a large 8l capacity. Chips could be crispier though.
4. Philips Essential Air Fryer XL
Good for larger families with a 6.2l capacity, this is a four-in-one gadget that can bake, grill and roast as well as air fry. Using up to a teaspoon of oil, fish fingers and sausages can be cooked in half the time of a normal oven.
5. Tower T17023 Air Fryer
This budget powerhouse is simple, compact and quick – chips take just 20 minutes, sausages 12-15. Although compact, it has a deep 2.2l basket. There’s no digital display, which is fair enough at this price.
