Today’s back pages: ‘mad cap’ Chelsea boss Sarri kicks off in Baku

A round up of the sport headlines from UK newspapers on 29 May

Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri is the focus of the back page headlines ahead of tonight’s Uefa Europa League final against Arsenal in Baku.

Sarri’s future at Stamford Bridge has been questioned in the build-up to the final and it appears that the pressure may be getting to the Italian.

In yesterday’s open training session at the Baku Olympic Stadium Sarri stormed off the pitch after a “bust-up” between Blues stars Gonzalo Higuain and David Luiz.

Moments after the “spat” Sarri threw and kicked his cap before heading down to the tunnel.

Tonight’s final starts at 8pm (BST) and is live on BT Sport 2 and BT Sport’s YouTube channel
