A round up of the sport headlines from UK newspapers on 21 June
Murray’s winning return
After having career-saving hip surgery in January British tennis star Andy Murray celebrated a winning return to the court at Queen’s yesterday.
The 32-year-old partnered Spain’s Feliciano Lopez at the Fever-Tree Championships and the duo won their doubles match 7-6 (7-5), 6-3 against Colombian top seeds Robert Farah and Juan Sebastian Cabal.

The Guardian and the Daily Mail both report that Murray was “back with a bang”.
Speaking after the match Murray told the BBC: “It was brilliant. I enjoyed it a lot. I was a bit slow at the beginning and got better as the match went on.
“I’m fortunate to be back playing again. Leading up to the match I was quite relaxed but I was a bit nervous when we started walking to the court.
“You want the nerves and the butterflies in the stomach and I had that.”
‘Maggie Snatcher’
Manchester City look to have beaten rivals Manchester United to the signing of Leicester centre-back Harry Maguire.
The Daily Mirror says that City boss Pep Guardiola is set to snatch Maguire away from United in a £65m deal.
A move for the England international could be finalised in the next week, says the Daily Star.
