It was a game of numbers Anfield last night. Not only did Liverpool put seven past Spartak Moscow but three of those came from the boot of Philippe Coutinho (his first hat-trick for the Reds) and in routing the Russians the Merseysiders became the fifth English club to qualify for the last 16 of this season’s Champions League.
