The Galaxy S7 features a 5.1-inch AMOLED display, which Alphr describes as being "sharp as sharp can be". The quality of the screen has also improved, says the site, and it's "extraordinarily colour-accurate and incredibly punchy".
Huawei P9 - £24 per month
Vodafone has dropped the monthly cost on the Huawei P9 to £24 - a total saving of £412 over two years. An upfront payment of £30 gets you a contract with 6GB of data, unlimited calls and texts and 500MB of roaming data.
TechRadar praises the P9's 12MP camera, saying it was "surprised by the amount of detail" on photographs using the zoom feature. "The hardware employed here is fantastic," it continues, and it's the best phone "the company has ever made".
Apple iPhone 7 - £79.99 upfront
Discounts on the new iPhone 7 can be hard to come by, but Carphone Warehouse has slashed the upfront cost of the device by £150. The deal includes a 32GB phone, 1,000 minutes and unlimited texts, as well as 2GB of data. The contract runs on the EE network with 24 monthly payments of £33.49.
Forbes were particularly impressed with the improved camera on the new flagship iPhone, saying the feature helps it "step into the limelight" and that "the gap has closed" on the best on the market.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge - £59.99 upfront
Carphone Warehouse have taken £200 off the upfront cost of a new Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. The offer comes with 500MB of data, 500 minutes and unlimited texts on a contract Vodafone, with 24 monthly payments of £19.00.
The handset is "stunning" and "a thing of beauty," says TechRadar, and will appeal to those who "want a really unique-looking device".
Google Pixel and VR Headset - £9.99 upfront
EE has dropped the upfront payment on the new Google Pixel from £79.99 to £9.99. A 24-month contract at £45.99 per month gets you a 32GB device with unlimited texts and calls and 5GB of data - plus Google's £69 Daydream VR headset.
The Pixel is Google's answer to the premium mobile market, battling the likes of Apple's iPhone and the Samsung Galaxy series. However, it is "noticeably faster than a Galaxy S7", says The Verge, and it and its big brother the Pixel XL are "the best Android phones you can buy".
