Red Bull’s new Formula 1 car has been “unleashed” featuring a special edition livery - and judging by the fans’ reactions they don’t want the new look to just be a one-off.

The 2019 challenger will be powered by Honda and Red Bull are confident that their new engine and driver partnership can propel the team “into a new era”.

Unveiled online on 13 February, the car will be put through its paces by drivers Max Verstappen and Pierre Gasly. It was driven for the first time by Verstappen at the team’s official filming day at Silverstone.

Red Bull and their new car will head to Barcelona for next week’s first pre-season test at the Circuit de Catalunya from 18-21 February.

Test two will be held from 26 February to 1 March in Barcelona and the first F1 grand prix of the season is in Australia on Sunday 17 March.

After finishing third in the 2018 constructors’ championship Red Bull will this year be aiming to compete for the title against Mercedes and Ferrari.
