Cristiano Ronaldo is on his way home from the World Cup after Portugal’s participation was ended by Uruguay on Saturday night and might he soon be on his way somewhere else?

According to The Sun, Ronaldo could be poised to join Juventus after his agent ended an 11-year feud with the Italian champions.

Reports from Italy claim that super-agent Jorge Mendes is lining up “a sensational move for the Real Madrid talisman” after Ronaldo decided he wanted one final challenge away from the Bernabeu.

But the Italian press seem convinced a deal will be reached with the front page of Sunday’s Tuttosport proclaiming: “Ronaldo-Juve, what a story!”

They add that Ronaldo is likely to move to Juventus for around £120m, with Real Madrid expected to try to lure Neymar from PSG as his replacement.
