Man Utd transfer news: Inter Milan ready to sell Perisic

Croat midfielder has 'agreed' terms of a move to Old Trafford, but Torino to demand €100m for Andrea Belotti

Ivan Perisic is ready to pack his bags at a moment's notice and head to Manchester United, reports the Daily Star.

The paper says that the Croatia winger has had enough of Inter Milan and is attracted by what Jose Mourinho is building at Old Trafford. The wide man has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford in recent weeks and, according to the Star, Inter are likely to be forced to trim their squad before 30 June in order to comply with Financial Fair Play requirements.

Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport says that Inter would, in an ideal world, love to keep hold of the Croat but Mourinho has reportedly "agreed a salary with Perisic to double his wages". Apparently the Special One has been consulting with the club's executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward and the package presented to Perisic has done the trick.

Meanwhile Torino president Urbano Cairo has reiterated that Andrea Belotti will not come cheap. United are believed to be closing in on the Italian marksman, who scored for his country in their 5-0 World Cup qualifying victory over Liechtenstein on Sunday, but the Irish Independent reports that in conversation with Italian broadcaster Radio 24, Cairo had this to say about the situation: "I care about Belotti and I'm keeping hold of him. He has a contract with Torino until 2021. I would only sell him for €100m, but even then he can refuse. The most important thing is what he wants, regardless of the release clause, and I believe he wants to stay. We are trying to build the best possible team at Torino."

Finally there is confirmation in Metro that Antoine Griezmann will end speculation linking him with a move to United by this week "agreeing a new contract with Atletico Madrid." Various reputable Spanish papers report that the France international is set to pen to a one-year extension on his current deal after deciding to snub interest from the Red Devils.
