A marijuana dispensary in Michigan is offering free weed to anyone vaccinated against Covid-19. Under the “Pot for Shots” promotion, people who bring in written proof that they have received a jab to the Greenhouse of Walled Lake will get a free pre-rolled spliff. “Our goal is to raise awareness of the importance of getting the Covid-19 vaccination as we as a community battle this horrible pandemic,” said owner Jerry Millen.
Man offers $1m for proof of life after death
A billionaire is offering nearly $1m in reward for anyone who can find proof of life after death. Robert Bigelow, the CEO of space station module start-up Bigelow Aerospace, has founded the Bigelow Institute for Consciousness Studies to support research into what happens after we die. He is “seeking hard evidence ‘beyond a reasonable doubt’ that takes us beyond religion or philosophy” and proves that life continues.
Dog waits outside hospital for owner
A dog has spent days waiting outside a hospital in Turkey where her sick owner was being treated. When the owner, Cemal Senturk, was taken to hospital, the dog, called Boncuk, followed the ambulance and then made daily visits to the facility. Senturk was discharged from the hospital on Wednesday and returned home with a delighted Boncuk.
