Chocolate bar from Queen Victoria found
A 121-year-old chocolate bar with regal links has been found in the attic of a National Trust property. The bar, which was part of a batch commissioned by Queen Victoria for British troops during the Boer War, was discovered in its tin in a Boer War-era helmet case at Oxburgh Hall in Norfolk. A National Trust spokesperson said: “It no longer looks appetising and is well past its use-by date - you wouldn’t want it as your Easter treat.”
