A man has successfully completed a six-year challenge to park in every car parking space at his local Sainsbury’s store. Gareth Wild, 39, from Bromley, said: “For the last six years I’ve kept a spreadsheet listing every parking spot I’ve used at the local supermarket in a bid to park in them all. This week I completed my Magnum Opus!” Asked how he felt, he said: “I don’t want to make out this was too big a deal.””

Video convinces fans Michael Jackson is alive

The conspiracy theory that Michael Jackson is still alive has re-ignited after videos of impersonator Fabio Jackson went viral on social media. Footage of him dancing to Queen’s song Another One Bites the Dust prompted excited comments from viewers. “Omg, is that you MJ?” one asked, while another questioned: “King of Pop is alive?” Another fan wrote: “Aye, the conspiracy is true. He is alive.”

McDonald’s thief told it’s too early for nuggets

A man robbing a McDonald’s store demanded some chicken nuggets but had to accept breakfast food because it was still too early. Rudi Batten claimed to have a gun and demanded money from the till and access to the safe. Before leaving, he demanded some chicken nuggets but was told it was still too early in the day and the restaurant was only serving items from its breakfast menu. He was identified by CCTV cameras and handed himself in to the police later that day.
