Time travellers share dramatic predictions on TikTok
And other stories from the stranger side of life
A group of self-proclaimed time travellers have shared their predictions for the coming months. Posting on TikTok, one said that there will be a destructive “great wave” this summer. Another, who travelled as far ahead as the year 2582, said: “On October 6, 2021, we will discover a creature unlike any other. It will be the most dangerous creature.” A third said that within months some humans will gain “superpowers” from the Sun, which give them the power to teleport, fly and manipulate the weather.
Man finds time capsule
A man has found a time capsule from the 1970s hidden in the walls of his pub. Toby Brett, who owns Holcombe Farmshop and Kitchen in Radstock, made the discovery while renovating the 200-year-old building. The time capsule included a price list from 1971, a few pounds of ha'ppenies, stamps, a wage slip, old beer mats and car tax discs. “It was a really pleasant find,” said Brett.
