A woman had a rollercoaster day when she bought a $1m-winning lottery scratch card because her flight had been cancelled. Angela Caravella, 51, of Kansas City, Missouri, said: “I had a feeling something bizarre was going to happen after my flight was cancelled unexpectedly. I bought a few scratch-off tickets to pass the time and just like that – I won $1 million!”
Ejaculate more to reduce cancer risk
Men should ejaculate at least 21 times a month to reduce their prostate cancer risk, according to researchers at Harvard University. In a study, 31,925 men provided their average monthly ejaculation frequencies. The researchers found that men with more frequent routines slash their chances of developing prostate cancer by a third. Ejaculation was also found to be good for stress, anxiety and sleep.
Gold medallist blocked for sharing her own race
Olympic gold medallist sprinter Elaine Thompson-Herah was blocked on Instagram for sharing videos from her own 100 and 200 metre races on her account. A spokesperson for Facebook told Reuters news agency that while the content had been removed, the suspension had been wrongly applied. The athlete’s access to the app was reinstated several hours later.
