Winnie the Pooh bridge is up for sale

The bridge made famous in the Winnie the Pooh books is up for sale by the auction house Summers Place. The 114-year-old bridge in Ashdown Forestm where the bear and his friends played “pooh sticks”, may sell for as much as £60,000, Summers Place Auctions estimates. Sealed bids are now being accepted for the auction, which will conclude on 6 October.
Woman ‘billed for crying during operation’
A US woman has claimed that she was charged extra because she cried during surgery. The woman shared a photo of the invoice she received after a mole removal procedure. While all other services mentioned were surgical, she noted an $11 charge for “brief emotion”. Writing on Twitter, she quipped that she did not even get a “damn sticker” after the surgery and wondered whether a lollipop is too much to ask for.

The wackiest records in Guinness book
The dog with the longest ears and the world’s tallest teenager are featured in the latest edition of the Guinness World Records book. American Zion Clark, who was born without legs, claimed the record for fastest 20 metres walking on hands, achieving the feat in 4.78 seconds. Laetitia Ky from Ivory Coast set the record for most skips over a person’s own hair in 30 seconds, which she managed 60 times.
