And other stories from the stranger side of life

Kim Kardashian

The town of Barnsley, in Yorkshire, has been given the “high honour” of being displayed on Kim Kardashian’s “most famous asset”, said The Independent. The celebrity was wearing a black Balenciaga bodysuit that featured a list of global “tour dates” for a fictional band called Speedhunters on the back. Barnsley is at the top of the list, followed by London, the only other UK city included. A Barnsley resident wrote on Twitter: “Kim Kardashian has got Barnsley written on her a**. I s*** you not, we are f***ing massive.”

Bob Dylan disc could sell for £1m

A one-off disc of the Bob Dylan track Blowin’ in the Wind could sell for £1m today, The Times reported. A new version of the hit recorded in March last year by Dylan, 81, and his long-time collaborator Joseph “T Bone” Burnett, 74, is to be sold at Christie’s in London. “We’re only making one because we view this work as the equivalent of an oil painting,” said Burnett.
