NFL divisional playoffs: teams, fixtures, predictions, betting odds, UK TV guide

The race is on to reach Super Bowl LIII in Atlanta next month

Only eight teams remain in the NFL playoff picture and they all have their sights set on taking a step closer to the 2019 Super Bowl.

This weekend it’s the divisional round of the NFL playoffs. In the American Football Conference (AFC) the Indianapolis Colts travel to the Kansas City Chiefs while the Los Angeles Chargers are at the New England Patriots.

In the National Football Conference (NFC) the Dallas Cowboys are on the road at the Los Angeles Rams and the Philadelphia Eagles play at the New Orleans Saints.

The Eagles are the reigning champions but they face a tough task against the Saints who are the bookies’ favourites to lift the Vince Lombardi Trophy at Super Bowl LIII on 3 February.

Here we look at this weekend’s NFL divisional playoff fixtures, the UK TV guide, betting odds and the predictions on which teams will reach the AFC and NFC conference championships.

Super Bowl LIII prediction and odds

When is the 2019 Super Bowl?

It’s on 3 February in Atlanta at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium, home of the Falcons.

Super Bowl winner prediction: Kansas City Chiefs

The Los Angeles Rams and Kansas City Chiefs played out an NFL classic as the Rams won 54-51 in November. Could we see a repeat of this match-up at Super Bowl LIII? The New Orleans Saints and New England Patriots are also among the favourites but we are tipping the Chiefs to beat the Rams in Atlanta in American football’s showpiece match.
