Pizza is the most addictive food on the planet, according to a new study. Researchers at the University of Michigan looked at addictive eating in 518 participants and named a top five of pizza, chocolate, crisps, biscuits and ice cream. A more surprising foodstuff named on the scale is the bread roll, which came in at 13, between fried chicken and popcorn.

The driver avoided a speeding ticket fine of €105 (£93). Sharing the incident on Facebook, police in Viersen said the “Holy Ghost” may be responsible.
