The ‘friendship tree’ that Emmanuel Macron gave to Donald Trump last year has died. The respective presidents planted the tree in the White House grounds but it was later uprooted for quarantine checks, during which it died.

Serial killer's asteroid prediction 'came close'

Serial killer Aileen Wuornos predicted an asteroid would wipe out mankind in 2019. Before she was executed in 2002, she said: “You're an inhumane bunch of f****** livin' b*****ds and b****s… 2019 a rock's supposed to hit you anyhow, you're all gonna get nuked.” Scientists say a giant rock will almost graze the planet in September.

Speeding teen says he ate too many hot wings

A 16-year-old boy pulled over by police in Canada for driving at 106mph told officers he was driving so fast because he needed to get to a toilet after eating too many hot chicken wings. However, police told him there was “absolutely no excuse” and fined him.
