A second Sphinx is hiding under mounds of sand in Egypt – that’s the theory of some historians. In a History Channel documentary, historians claim that a twin Sphinx exists somewhere in Egypt and that finding it will be a significant archaeological achievement.

Thirtysomething has to be cut free from toddler’s plastic car with a bread knife

A 34-year-old woman had to be cut free with a bread knife after she got stuck inside her toddler cousin’s plastic toy car. “She was in there for an hour,” said Zoe Archibald’s nephew. “We had to cut the back off the car to get her out.”

Man convinced his girlfriend is reincarnation of evil witch

A woman has told an agony aunt that her partner believes that she is the reincarnation of a witch. She wrote that her boyfriend “has moved further left of the socially accepted idea of normal” and “become convinced that I'm the reincarnation of an evil witch”. Acknowledging it might be an excuse to dump her, she added: “I'd actually be relieved if that were true to be honest.”
