Prince Charles and Diana would never have married had Lord Mountbatten not been murdered by the IRA in 1979, according to a royal biographer. Before his death, says Penny Junor, the influential Lord Mountbatten had been keen to promote a match between his granddaughter, Amanda Knatchbull, and Charles.
Former judge dragged from courtroom
A former judge had to be dragged from court after she was ordered into custody. The dramatic scenes erupted when the presiding judge announced his decision regarding Tracie Hunter’s 2014 conviction and six-month sentence for using her former job as judge to help a family member. Hunter insists she “violated no laws”.
Trump crashes MAGA-themed wedding
A couple were thrilled when Donald Trump crashed their wedding in New Jersey after he heard the bride and groom were holding a Make America Great Again-themed wedding at a golf club. As part of the theme, the couple had fake dollar bills with Trump's face on them. They were overjoyed when the US president appeared at their reception.
