Virgin Mary statues cause uproar at haunted house

A haunted house attraction in Connecticut caused an uproar when locals thought that two statues of the Virgin Mary were part of the exhibition. After complaints, the Nightmare on Wolcott Street released a statement saying: “Our blessed mother has never and will never be part of our haunted attraction.” To avoid further confusion, the organisers have temporarily covered the statues in plastic wrap.
