‘John Lennon is alive’ theory emerges online

A theory has emerged that John Lennon did not really die in 1980. Under an online video of Lennon lookalike Mark Staycer, a number of comments suggest that the Staycer is, in fact, the Beatle himself. “This man is John Lennon, I guess he didn't really die back in 1980,” wrote one. Another commented: “That's John Lennon or I'll go eat a shovel of dirt.”

Customer fumes as Amazon driver ‘pees on floor’

An Amazon customer was left steaming with anger when a delivery driver urinated over his toilet floor. Jamie Lappin, of Scunthorpe, North Lincolshire, said that after allowing the driver to use the facilities, he went upstairs to check the toilet. “I couldn't believe what I'd seen,” said Lappin. “It was like he had tried to miss the toilet!”

Woman swallows dentures while eating mince pie 

A woman has accidentally swallowed her dentures while eating an Aldi mince pie. After realising what she’d done, Angela McGill, 52, went to hospital and an X-ray revealed the plate was stuck half way down her throat.

The mum-of-three from Glasgow, said: “I think I made their day to be honest, maybe even their year. It was ever so funny!” After flushing the dentures down the loo, she is now on the look out for a set of fresh fangs.
