Nasa scientists say putting a pineapple plant in your bedroom helps to improve air quality, produces oxygen and stops people snoring. The plants are rare in the UK because they take between 21 and 24 months to grow, usually in Holland. However, when Morrisons sold them earlier this month they retailed for £10.
Angelic Jesus spotted above West Midlands town
A cloud that resembles an “angelic Jesus” has been spotted above a home in the West Midlands. Caroline Hawthorne, of Willenhall, who snapped a photograph of the cloud, told the Daily Star: “People have been telling me it looks like an angel or Jesus with his arms outstretched. It was so bizarre and I've never seen anything like it.”
Dog gives birth to bright green puppy
A dog gave birth to a puppy whose fur is a bright shade of green. Experts say the white German Shepherd produced such a colourful pup because it had defecated in her womb. “The puppy's green hue is likely to have been caused by meconium, a puppy's first faeces which may be passed ahead of birth,” said Daniella Dos Santos, president of the British Veterinary Association.
