Dog walker receives ‘disgusting’ messages after advert typo

A dog walker in Thorndon, Suffolk, has been left embarrassed after an advert she placed in a parish magazine included a typo which saw her offer “dog wanking” services. Lucy Hignett took out the ad to drum up interest in her business Lead The Way. She says she has received “disgusting” messages after it was distributed.

Air guitar world record broken in Australia

A festival in Australia broke a Guinness World Record when 3,722 people played air guitar to AC/DC hit Highway to Hell. The Perth Festival began on Sunday with the bid for a record for the largest air guitar ensemble. The organisers successfully beat the previous record of 2,377 people, which was set in September 2011 in California.

Coronavirus sees spike in sales of condoms

People are panic-buying condoms to put on their fingers to protect against coronavirus, according to reports. Photographs on social media show empty condom shelves in stores in Australia and Singapore. Sales of other items such as toilet paper, soap and hand sanitiser have also risen.
