A new type of insect has been named after Lady Gaga because of its “wacky fashion sense”. University of Illinois graduate student Brendan Morris named the treehopper species Kaikaka Gaga after the pop idol. Morris said: “If there is going to be a Lady Gaga bug, it's going to be a treehopper, because they've got these crazy horns, they have this wacky fashion sense about them.”

Spanish police tick off man in dinosaur costume

Police in Spain have chastised a man who took to the streets dressed up as a dinosaur during the lockdown. After cops encountered the man on the streets of Murcia, they wrote on Twitter that “a Tyrannosaurus rex” costume is not part of the permitted etiquette for leaving the house during the coronavirus crisis.

Couple re-create cancelled cruise in bedroom

When a couple in Melbourne, Australia, had their cruise cancelled due to the coronavirus, they recreated their planned treat in their living room. Wearing robes, sipping drinks, and with a personal supply of toilet roll, Norma and Dave Trill relaxed in front of a video of the ocean playing on their TV.
