Police in Florida have caught a fugative cow that has been on the run since January. The Pembroke Pines Police Department said the cow is “faster than it looks” and is a “talented fence jumper”. It added: “We wish the cow well on its future adventures.”
Brits catch last ferry as they bid for cycling world record
Two British women are set to break the Guinness World Record for tandem bicycling around the world after they managed to grab the last ferry from France to England before the coronavirus halts the service. Cat Dixon and Raz Marsden, who started their world-traversing bike ride June in Oxford, are hoping to finish it next week.
Elephants get drunk on corn wine
A herd of elephants ended up getting drunk after they broke into a village to find food. The animals came across a huge 30kg of corn wine and supped on it before passing out, drunk, in a nearby tea gardens. Locals say the pair of drunkards also intruded into villagers' homes and caused damage.
