Mountain lion breaks into home and eats cat

Two Colorado residents have reported that a mountain lion broke into their home and ate their cat, before lounging on the couch for a few hours. One of the residents found the mountain lion in the house and called police. Wildlife officers spent hours trying to remove the animal from the home, before it wandered out by itself, back into the wild.

‘Rogue goat’ blamed for animal escape

A ‘rogue goat’ named Fred is being blamed for a mass escape of other goats and sheep from a New Jersey livestock auction facility. Fred, who himself escaped from the same market more than a year ago, was seen head-butting a gate the day after more than 80 animals broke free.

Candidate shows off fake diploma to prove credentials

A Republican candidate in Florida has been caught in an embarrassing lie, after it was reported she had not graduated from college. In an attempt to prove that she had, Melissa Howard posted a photo of herself holding her framed diploma – which in turn was revealed to be a fake by Miami University.
