Eden Hazard’s long-awaited move to Real Madrid has taken a huge step forward after Chelsea agreed a €100m (£88.5m) fee for the Belgian international.
The Guardian reports that the two clubs reached the deal on Wednesday evening, with an announcement to be made in the next few days after contracts are signed.
Another player linked with Real Madrid is Tottenham’s Christian Eriksen. The BBC reports that the Danish playmaker has admitted he “might want to try something new” but has not ruled out extending his contract with Spurs.
De Gea to replace Buffon

Liverpool legend Graeme Souness believes that star strikers Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane could be summer targets for Real Madrid and Barcelona. He said: “Real Madrid and Barcelona will be sniffing round Salah and Mane, and I think one of them will be targeted this summer.
