Where will De Ligt go?
Speculation continues as to the future of Ajax captain Matthijs de Ligt.
The 19-year-old defender has been linked with most of Europe’s top clubs including Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona, Manchester United and Juventus.
Spanish newspaper Sport reports that De Ligt’s advisors have told him to choose United now then move to Barcelona later in his career.
However, according to ESPN it’s French giants PSG who are favourites ahead of Barca to land the coveted centre-back.
Speaking to Mundo Deportivo De Ligt said he is unsure where he will go, but will make a decision now the season has ended.
“I still do not know what my heart says,” said the Netherlands international. “Now in my vacations I will be able to think about it and decide what I am going to do with my future.
“For me, the most important thing is to know that in the team where I go I can have prominence and play many games.”
Onana to replace De Gea?
Another Ajax star in demand is goalkeeper Andre Onana. The £40m-rated stopper is a target for Manchester United, who see the Cameroon international as a replacement for David de Gea. Spaniard De Gea only has a year left on his contract and is linked with Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus. (The Sun)

Despite links with Ajax keeper Andre Onana, it’s reported that Manchester United are preparing a fresh contract offer to keep David de Gea at Old Trafford. United are insistent De Gea will not be sold. (The Daily Telegraph)
