Ajax captain Matthijs de Ligt is yet to decide his future amid interest from Man Utd, PSG and Barcelona

Premier League transfer gossip and rumours

Where will De Ligt go?

Speculation continues as to the future of Ajax captain Matthijs de Ligt.

The 19-year-old defender has been linked with most of Europe’s top clubs including Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona, Manchester United and Juventus.

Spanish newspaper Sport reports that De Ligt’s advisors have told him to choose United now then move to Barcelona later in his career.

However, according to ESPN it’s French giants PSG who are favourites ahead of Barca to land the coveted centre-back.

Speaking to Mundo Deportivo De Ligt said he is unsure where he will go, but will make a decision now the season has ended.

“I still do not know what my heart says,” said the Netherlands international. “Now in my vacations I will be able to think about it and decide what I am going to do with my future.

“For me, the most important thing is to know that in the team where I go I can have prominence and play many games.”

Onana to replace De Gea?

Another Ajax star in demand is goalkeeper Andre Onana. The £40m-rated stopper is a target for Manchester United, who see the Cameroon international as a replacement for David de Gea. Spaniard De Gea only has a year left on his contract and is linked with Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus. (The Sun)

Spurs to improve Lo Celso bid

Sane dismisses Bayern questions

Manchester City winger Leroy Sane refused to answer questions about a potential move to German champions Bayern Munich. The 23-year-old told reporters: “I’m going on holiday now. Everything else will be seen. That’s it with the questions about Bayern Munich.” (ESPN)

Lukaku: United will decide future

Romelu Lukaku says it’s up to Manchester United to decide if he is to leave Old Trafford. The Belgium striker, who has been linked with Inter Milan, said: “It’s up to the club. The club have to come out with statements. I’m not here to entertain any rumours. I just play my football and we’ll take it from there.” (Sky Sports)

So long Torreira?

Serie A giants AC Milan are trying to “lure” Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira back to Italy. The 23-year-old enjoyed an impressive debut season after moving from Sampdoria last summer and his form has caught the eye of Milan’s new sporting director Frederic Massara. Although Gunners boss Unai Emery doesn’t want to lose Torreira, he could be prepared to cash in “if a huge bid was tabled by the Milan top brass”. (The Sun
