Premier League transfer gossip and rumours

Pogba prefers Juve to Real

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba wants to return to Italian champions Juventus this summer.

The French World Cup winner left Juve for Old Trafford in 2016 and according to Sky in Italy he is now keen to be reunited with the Turin club.

Earlier this week Pogba revealed that it could be a “good time to have a new challenge”.

Speaking to reporters in Tokyo, he said: “I am thinking of this: to have a new challenge somewhere else.

“After this season and everything that happened this season... I think for me it could be a good time to have a new challenge.”

Real Madrid have also been linked with Pogba, but Metro reports that his preference is a move to Italy. United don’t want to sell their prized asset, but they would demand a fee of £150m.

The Daily Mirror says on its back page today that Juve are confident they can beat Real to the 26-year-old’s signature.
