Arsenal in race for Marcelo

The 31-year-old has spent 13 seasons at the Bernabeu and believes that it’s time for a new challenge.

Ardiles: Spurs should sell Eriksen

Tottenham Hotspur legend Ossie Ardiles believes it’s in the club’s best interest to sell Danish playmaker Christian Eriksen. Ardiles said: “It looks to me like he has put his mind on a move - that he wants to go somewhere else. And if that is the case it’s futile for the club to try and keep a player when he wants to leave. I won’t say he’s not happy with us, because he is, but his mind is trying to play somewhere else, and the best thing is to part company.” (talkSPORT)

Milan still keen on Lovren

Buffon turned down Prem offers

Agent Silvano Martina has revealed that Gianluigi Buffon turned down a number of offers from Premier League clubs in order to return to Juventus from Paris Saint-Germain. Martina said: “He had many offers, especially from the Premier League and from other large teams. I don’t name names, it’s not in my style but I think you won’t have problems understanding. Buffon has always made choices with his heart and never for his wallet. You can compare his return home to that of a husband who after an escapade can’t wait to hug his wife again.” (Daily Mail)
