It’s deadline day in Scotland, Russia, Germany, France and Spain with their transfer windows slamming shut this evening.
While the transfer window for incoming players has closed for England’s top flight and in Italy, players can still be sold or loaned out. English Football League clubs can also sign players on loan until 5pm.

Pogba to stay… for now
Barcelona won’t make a move to sign Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba before today’s deadline - however, they are confident of signing him next year, the Daily Express reports. According to Spanish outlet Don Balon, Pogba is keen on the Camp Nou and would reject a move to Real Madrid.
Chelsea turned down Fekir
Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas says Chelsea turned down the opportunity to sign Nabil Fekir. The French attacker’s move to Liverpool fell through earlier this summer. (Daily Mail)
Ademola Lookman: Everton to RB Leipzig

Paulo Dybala: Juventus to Real Madrid
It would be a sensational deadline day deal but reports of Paulo Dybala moving from Juventus to Real Madrid for €180m (£161m) have been dismissed by Italian outlet Sport Mediaset. (90min)
Jerome Boateng: Bayern Munich to Paris
Bayern Munich have reportedly turned down a €40m (£35.8m) bid from Paris Saint-Germain for Germany defender Jerome Boateng. Bayern want a fee of €50m (£44.8m). (ESPN via Welt)
