Paul Pogba: Manchester United to Juventus

Tuttosport reports that Italian champions Juventus want to bring Paul Pogba back to the club as they set their sights on winning the Champions League.

Pogba’s frosty relationship with United boss Jose Mourinho could see the French World Cup winner leave. ESPN writer Mark Ogden says Mourinho is “powerless” in the Old Trafford “soap opera” as Pogba “holds the aces”.

Ogden writes: “The recent toning down of Mourinho’s language towards Pogba is perhaps a sign of his realisation that there can only be one winner in what has become a two-way battle of egos.”

Paulo Dybala: Juventus to Manchester United

While Pogba is being linked with a move to Juventus, United may raid the Italians for their own big-name signing. The Red Devils could make a January move for Argentina forward Paulo Dybala. (Sky Sports via Calciomercato)

Hirving Lozano: PSV Eindhoven to Manchester United

PSV Eindhoven’s Mexican winger Hirving Lozano is wanted by a host of European clubs. Manchester United, Inter Milan, Borussia Dortmund, Atletico Madrid and Barcelona are all keen on the 23-year-old. (Manchester Evening News)

Cesc Fabregas: Chelsea to AC Milan

Spanish midfielder Cesc Fabregas is again being linked with a move to AC Milan. The Italians are keen on the 31-year-old, who’s out of contract at Chelsea at the end of the season. (Daily Mirror)

Spurs target Chilwell and De Jong

Tottenham are “keeping tabs” on Leicester City left-back Ben Chilwell and Ajax midfielder Frenkie de Jong. Chilwell was this week called up to the England squad for the first time. He could make his debut tonight against Switzerland at Leicester’s King Power Stadium. (The Daily Telegraph)

Leicester’s ‘statement of intent’

Ben Chilwell may be a target for Tottenham, but Leicester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel believes the club are making a statement to their Premier League rivals by keeping their star players. England defender Harry Maguire signed a new five-year deal this week and Schmeichel said: “It is very nice news. For him to commit himself for five years is a great sign. It is a statement of intent from the owners. They want to keep all the best players. We are not in a position where we have to sell.” (Daily Mail)

Adrien Rabiot: Paris Saint-Germain to Manchester City

PSG head coach Thomas Tuchel won’t let midfielder Adrien Rabiot “leave easily”, says the Spanish newspaper Sport. Rabiot is out of contract next summer and has been linked with Barcelona, Juventus and Liverpool. According to Sport, Manchester City are the latest club to be interested.

Willian wants five more years at Chelsea

Despite being linked with Manchester United and Barcelona this summer, Chelsea midfielder Willian is keen to stay at Stamford Bridge. There were rumours that the Brazilian was looking for a transfer, but the 30-year-old said: “I never said that I want to leave Chelsea, never. Now I am here five years, I hope to stay five more. I know I have two years of my contract left but I hope to stay more years in the Premier League.” (Sky Sports)
