Premier League transfer news and rumours

Sanchez ‘sounding out suitors’

Alexis Sanchez is considering a move away from Manchester United just nine months after joining the Old Trafford club from Arsenal.

The Chilean striker has struggled in front of goal for the Red Devils and has been left out of Jose Mourinho’s starting XI for more than half of the matches so far this season. According to the Daily Mail, the 29-year-old’s agent has been “sounding out potential suitors across Europe”.

Hazard: I could stay at the Bridge

Eden Hazard admitted recently that he has a life dream of playing for Real Madrid, but the Chelsea star says he would have “no problem” staying at Stamford Bridge for the rest of his career. The Belgium captain, 27, told Sky Sports: “I can finish with Chelsea. No problem at all. I am very happy with this club, with the team, my family is happy here. So if I don’t go to Spain, it is not a problem. I love the fans - I think the fans love me! What happens in the future, I will be happy, so that’s it.”

Chelsea eye Morata replacement

One forward who could be leaving Chelsea is Spaniard Alvaro Morata. It’s claimed that the Blues have “given up” on Morata and boss Maurizio Sarri is looking to sign a new striker in the January transfer window. Inter Milan star Mauro Icardi is top of Chelsea’s wanted list. (The Sun)

Spurs to swoop for Malcom?

Barcelona signed midfielder Malcom from Bordeaux this summer but he could already be on his way out of the Camp Nou. According to reports in Spain, Tottenham are interested in making a €50m (£43.9m) move for the 21-year-old in January. (Sport)

Alberto Moreno: Liverpool to Arsenal

Reds set £20m-plus fee for Origi

Liverpool will demand a fee of more than £20m for striker Divock Origi. The Belgian is linked with a move away from Anfield in January and it’s reported that Everton and Wolves could be interested. (Liverpool Echo)

No regrets for Spurs boss Pochettino

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino is happy with his squad and has “no regrets” at not signing any new players in the summer. The Argentine said: “We showed that we do not care. If we don’t need the players who are available to sign then why are we going to sign? That is the point. I was happy and am happy with the squad that I have, we have no regrets.” (The Daily Telegraph)

No United return for Zlatan

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been linked with a loan move back to Manchester United in January but the Swedish striker says he would reject the chance. Ibrahimovic, 37, left Old Trafford for Major League Soccer side LA Galaxy in March. (Sky Sports via Metro)
