Premier League transfer news: Ivan Perisic, Anthony Martial, Frenkie De Jong

Inter consider selling Perisic while Manchester City are told Ajax star De Jong will cost a record £75m

Premier League transfer news and rumours

Perisic to United?

Inter Milan are considering selling Ivan Perisic but will demand a fee of £31m for the Croatia star.

The 29-year-old winger was a target last summer for Manchester United, The Sun reports, but the Red Devils failed to meet Inter’s asking price of £48m.

With the lower asking price and Perisic failing to “hit the heights” of previous seasons, United boss Jose Mourinho could finally get his man next year.

Martial to Inter?

While Ivan Perisic could leave Inter Milan for Manchester United, The Guardian reports that French striker Anthony Martial could move in the other direction. But Sky Sports says that United are braced for January interest in Martial from Chelsea and Juventus.

De Jong will cost £75m

If Manchester City want to sign Frenkie De Jong from Ajax they’ll have to pay a club-record fee of £75m. The Holland midfielder is rated as one of Europe’s best young players and has been dubbed “the new Johan Cruyff” by the Daily Mirror. Barcelona are also keen on the 21-year-old.
