£100m for Hazard

If Eden Hazard tells Chelsea that he wants to sign for Real Madrid it will cost the European champions at least £100m.

The Daily Telegraph says that’s the price the Stamford Bridge club have put on their star Belgian, who has regularly been linked with Real in recent months.

Hazard’s Chelsea contract expires in 2020 and he has a new offer on the table. The Telegraph says both parties are keen to get the issue resolved but Chelsea are “planning for both scenarios”. 

Atletico in talks over Morata

Another Chelsea star who could be set for the Stamford Bridge exit is Spanish striker Alvaro Morata. It’s reported by Sky Sports that La Liga giants Atletico Madrid are in talks to sign the 26-year-old. Spanish newspaper Marca adds that Morata is willing to take a pay cut to move to Atletico.

Juve reject Chelsea loan offer for Higuain

Chelsea have made an 18-month loan offer for Gonzalo Higuain which has been rejected by his parent club Juventus. Higuain is currently on loan at AC Milan and the Italian rivals are set for “showdown talks” to discuss the Argentine’s future. (Daily Mail)

Spurs eye Malcom loan

Tottenham could make a move to sign Barcelona attacker Malcom on loan. Spurs are facing a striker shortage with Harry Kane injuring his ankle and South Korean Heung-Min Son leaving for the Asian Cup. (Daily Star

Wright: Arnautovic should be sold

Former West Ham striker Ian Wright has told the BBC that the club should sell striker Marko Arnautovic. Chinese Super League side Shanghai SIPG have made a £35m bid for the Austrian, The Sun reports, and he could leave before the end of the week. 

Wilson to replace Arnautovic?

If Marko Arnautovic does leave West Ham the east London outfit could make a move for Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson. The 26-year-old is also linked with Chelsea. (Daily Mail)

Shelvey not for sale

Newcastle United midfielder Jonjo Shelvey has been linked with moves to Fulham and West Ham this month but his boss Rafael Benitez says the 26-year-old is not available. (Newcastle Chronicle)

Okazaki wants game time

Japanese striker Shinji Okazaki wants to leave Leicester City because of a lack of playing time. A number of Premier League club could be interested but Leicester are reluctant to sell. (Sky Sports

Sala holds talks with Cardiff

Cardiff City have held “constructive” talks with Nantes striker Emiliano Sala over an £18m club record transfer. The Argentine’s representative Mark McKay said the 28-year-old was “very impressed”. (Sky Sports

Groeneveld in demand

Club Brugge winger Arnaut Groeneveld is a target for Premier League clubs Liverpool, Tottenham and Everton. The Netherlands international, 21, is also wanted by Italian giants AC Milan. (The Guardian

PSG make Gueye approach 

French champions Paris Saint-Germain remain keen on midfielder Idrissa Gueye and have made a formal approach to Everton. (Footmercato.net)

De Gea waits on new United deal

Manchester United’s star goalkeeper David de Gea wants to stay at Old Trafford for the long term but the Spaniard is waiting on a £300,000-a-week offer before signing a new contract with the Red Devils. (Daily Mail)
