'Naked Hillary' appears in New York
A statue of a nude and hooved Hillary Clinton has appeared outside a subway station in New York. The life-sized statue is reminiscent of a similar effigy of a naked Donald Trump, which was placed in various locations by artists in August this year. Crowd reactions to the Clinton statue were mixed, prompting a scuffle between several people, before one woman pushed the statue to the ground and sat on it to stop it being displayed.
'Creepy clown' killed by landmine
Officials in the Cambodian town of Samroang have confirmed that a man wearing a clown mask has died after he stepped on a landmine. Police say the man was brandishing a machete in an attempt to scare residents, who chased him into the jungle, where the explosion occurred. The man was believed to have recently returned to Cambodia from the US, where he had been studying.
Dead cats found in storage unit
A bargain hunter got more than he expected when he bought an abandoned storage unit at auction in New York. The man paid $150 (£121) for the contents of the locker "sight unseen" and opened it to discover around 40 dead cats stored in two freezers. Officials are waiting for the animals to thaw out before a proper investigation can begin.
