Car journey proves hiss-terical

A motorist had a terrifying encounter with an eagle when it dropped a snake on her car as she drove along a motorway. Joanne Fenwick, from Queensland, Australia, said she and her passengers got quite a shock when the serpent landed. "At first we crapped ourselves," she said, "but then it was hilarious."

Beer price war ends in arson

An off-licence owner is in custody after he allegedly set fire to a rival business that was undercutting his prices. Police say Munir Hawara, of Riverside, California, took action when customers began shopping at his rival's store. Video of the incident appears to show Hawara pouring petrol over the front of the shop before it burst into flames.

Walmart bike stunt leads to arrest

Two brothers have been arrested after filming a stunt for YouTube in a Walmart store in Kentucky. The video shows 27-year-old Justin Bell, wearing only white underpants and a red cape, riding through the store on a small motorcycle. While no one in the store called police about the incident, officials acted when they saw the footage online. Bell and his brother Howard, 44, are charged with wanton endangerment and the video has been removed from the social media site.
