As Yahoo Answers shuts down after more than 15 years, fans are recalling the Q&A site’s more amusing moments. One questioner asked: “how is babby formed? How girl get pragnent?” Another highlight - perhaps delivered by the same person - came when someone asked: “What if the girl that thinks I’m the dad isn’t the mom?” For many, the site’s pinnacle was reached when someone asked: “If i eat myself would i become twice as big or disappear completely?”

Superman comic goes for record sum

A rare Superman comic book has sold for a record-setting price. The issue of Action Comics #1 went for $3.25m in a private sale, an online auction and consignment company has announced. The comic, published in 1938, “really is the beginning of the superhero genre," said ComicConnect.com COO Vincent Zurzolo, who brokered the sale.

Lost B&B sign found 800 miles away

A bed-and-breakfast sign in Alabama that was lost during Hurricane Sally has washed up 800 miles away in Texas. After the hurricane dumped as much as 30 inches of torrential rainfall, a local resident said she and her husband “spotted something floating face down in the water”. She added: “He goes out in the water and brings it back and it’s this beautiful sign. The only thing that was wrong with it was it was covered in shells and mussels.”
